Fine double walled mercury glass vase, silvered and cut retailed by E. VARNISH & Co. and made by James Powell at the famous Whitefriars glassworks in London circa 1850.
A luscious deep cobalt blue casing.
Original sealed glass and metal plug in the botttom stamped E.VARNISH & CO. PATENT LONDON . well sealed so only minor small and slight oxidisation.
