Good example of an antique carved sandalwood box from the turn of the century.
Mounted on 4 cast brass feet and with brass recessed hinges and lock (no key).
Top carving depicts God Brahma and his followers - enclosed in a chamfered border of Kutch type scroll work. Around all over four sides are carvings of birds in foliage.
Good sweet sandalwood scent.
Very good antique condition and good deep carving. No losses.
