Antique silver kashkul from Srinagar Kashmir India made around 1890. The sides are decorated In the paisley shawl pattern. Two cast silver snake heads holding silver rings on each side.
Around the top is pierced silver work or jali work enclosing flowers.
Usual flared rim to the base. Excellent original condition. Later presented with inscription “ To Bisnath Polo club by Bung 1936”.
