Antique Anglo Indian colonial silver coffee pot by Hamilton’s dated 1862.
Military presentation piece.
Superb quality chased and engraved made by Hamilton’s of Calcutta. Used as a presentation piece for the “Roorkee Sky Races” in 1862 and won by Capt. Shiffners B.C.B.M Crazy Jane.
Excellent original condition - not over polished and with fine raised definition.
Marked on bottom rim H&C, date letter A, elephant mark and trident mark.
