ANTIQUE CEYLONESE SILVER TRAY. 23 cms. 320 gms. 1910. Antique Indian silver circular tray from Ceylon, Sri Lanka. Made around 1910 in Kandy. Has an outer border of flowers and scrolling leaves. The inner border has alternate elephants and lions in procession with foliage and flowers in between. The central medallion depicts the lion of Sinhala holding a sword. Excellent original condition, good patina and raised definition. Not over polished. Hallmarked KAA and Sinhala mark.
