Excellent example of an antique silver handled magnifying glass made in Madras 1890. Decorated in 4 sections each containing 3 depictions of Indian lord Vishnu avatars including various mudras of matsya.
The handle is strongly fixed to a 4” inch magnifying glass held in a nickel plated brass frame.
Excellent condition, no dents.
A most impressive addition to a gentleman desk.
