Fine quality carved sandalwood frame made in Mysore Karnataka 1875. The carving is deep and well defined and well above average as is the condition. A few tiny pieces missing as to be expected but nothing major and barely noticeable.
Depicting birds in scrolling foliage all around with the top three cartouches depicting carved figures of a seated god and two worshipers either side. Good sandalwood perfume.
